I've reported for multiple news outlets, including the Columbia Missourian daily newspaper, Vox Magazine and the Trace. I currently work as a marketing copywriter, creating digital marketing copy for brand messaging playbooks, websites, emails, paid ads, video scripts and so much more.

My time at Twilio required that I become something of a Swiss army knife. I began writing internal brand messaging playbooks intended to target various personae, then pivoted to unique projects, including lead generation communications, promotional video scripts, paid ad copy and landing page content. Every project was an incredible learning experience and I remain forever grateful for my time here.
June 2021 – March 2022
In this role, I wrote B2B communications designed to target and assist Capital One dealer partners. From PowerPoint presentations and emails to sizzle reel scripts, blog posts and landing page content, my duties always required equal parts research and collaboration to make certain every communication reached its intended audience.
October 2017 – June 2021
I work in a collaborative environment to create B2B and B2C facing marketing materials in both digital and print formats, including content for websites, banner ads, emails, brochures, flyers, product descriptions and direct-mail campaigns.

Crafted a historical narrative timeline of Missouri Firearm laws for The Trace, a national news outlet that focuses on gun laws and gun violence.
